Perches
In
order to exercise the muscles in the feet properly it is recommended
that your bird be provided with perches of uneven profile and varying
diameter. For this reason we provide perches in packs of two different
lengths and diameters.
In
the wild your bird would often get essential nutrients and oils for
chewing on it's perch, for this reason don't be surprised if you find it
has been nibbled here and there, see our home
page for more information on why chewing eucalyptus wood is
good for your birds.
All
perches come with galvanized steel wing-nut fitting for easy attachment
to cage bars. If you have an unusual cage please contact
us to request a special fitting
